Are top interior designers available on Decorill?

Yes. Our interior designers are hand-picked and fully vetted and come from some of the best schools and firms around the nation. Our team collectively covers every style, budget range and project size. All of our designers have an interior design bachelors, masters, or professional decorator’s diploma. They’ve worked at Fortune 500 companies, large design firms, and even for start-ups.

What’s included in our custom-made design packages?

  • 3D renderings of your new room prepared for you on interior design software and presented in a picture format.  Your new design will use the perfect combination based on your choices of new and existing decor pieces. By having our pros design your room in 3D, we will take the guesswork out of the designing process and prevent costly mistakes.
  • Floor plan and furniture placement for your unique space.  Your designer will provide you with an effective and aesthetic spatial layout that best suits your interior so that you only have to rearrange your furniture once.
  • Itemized shopping list with store links and pricing.  Your list will eliminate any uncertainty you may have about the décor item by providing its size, color, and fabric specifications if needed.  This means no more running around from store to store trying to find the perfect piece.  Of course, you’ll have the flexibility to buy the items on your own timeline as your budget permits and we can assist with shopping for you.
  • Paint color palette to complement your space. Your designer will recommend complementary paint colors (at least one main wall color and two accent colors) from a well-known company such as Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore.
  • Tips and Implementation Guide will also be prepared by your designer.  This will help keep you organized during the decorating process by providing an easy to follow to-do list and other home decorating advice to ensure your design success.

Technical QUESTIONS

How long does it take?

We work on your schedule! Typically you’ll receive 2 initial design concepts from 2 professional designers within a week and then once you choose your favorite designer they will provide revisions based on your feedback and help you source the items (this usually takes one to three weeks). Our process can be expedited or extended based on your needs.

What happens once I select the winning design?

Once you choose your designer you’ll be in constant communication them and you may even tell them if you really liked something from another proposal. Your chosen designer will refine the design based on your feedback when completing the realistic 3D model & shopping list that’s included in your package.

What if I don’t like any of the design proposals?

We have a 100% satisfaction guarantee! If you don’t like any proposals, then simply contact us and we’ll pair you with another designer or offer more proposals to make sure we get it perfect.

What happens if I need to pause on the project?

We understand that life can get busy and want to accommodate your schedule, so if you need to put your project on hold please contact us and let us know. Please note, that if a project remain inactive for 90 days, it cannot be refunded and may be considered as closed.

How will the designers know what I want?

Your decor brief and feedback will tell them. By completing our fun and interactive decor brief, you will provide designers with insightful information such as your personal design preferences, goals, room photos & measurements, budget plans, and personal likes/dislikes. After carefully reviewing your information, our professional designers will ask you questions and get to work, submitting tailor-made decorating ideas for you to preview.

Can I get revisions to the design I choose?

Yes! Designers thrive on guidance and love nothing more than creating a space that you absolutely LOVE. They’ll revise the initial proposal based on our feedback and you’ll also have 60 days follow-up support to provide comments and ask questions about your design.

Billing QUESTIONS

How much does it cost to run a project?

You set the budget! We offer hourly professional help at one low flat fee of $75/hour or you may choose one of our packages starting at only $449. We can customize your project price amount to make sure you get a package that’s right for you.
